This is how I amuse myself. I think of a situation that occurs and give it a fresh perspective. Finally if that isn’t absurd enough I make it unreal.
The picture is of a box covering a pound of Pakistani Starberries, which a decade ago didn’t exist. Someone somehow discovered a way to grow strawberries in Tropical weather. And now they sell them every season for about $1 per pound.
It is a source of pride hence the flag on the box. The obvious typo on it makes it far more endearing than if it were just plainly spelt. It is the genius of advertising that has many brands launched with names similarly, Bakeri instead of bakery (I was part of the team that launched the brand advertising for that biscuit) The name was the client’s idea.
